UK MASK FORCE

UK Mask Force is a registered charity made up of a small team of voluntary British and American medical experts and entrepreneurs who are based in the UK and China. They have partnered together to both manufacture and source PPE to provide to struggling Health Care Workers and Vulnerable People with much needed face masks and sanitiser to keep them safe.

Together with our partners hand sanitiser production has already started at our facility in Nottingham and before the end of 2020 a factory with capacity to manufacture 2million high quality IIR surgical masks per month will also be brought online.

Using your donations and proceeds from our charity PPE shop we will be acquiring high quality face masks and other protective equipment (PPE) to give to those who need it most.

COVID-19 needs no introduction. As the world scrambles to prevent the virus spreading, although it has become clear that while the NHS appears to have now resolved their PPE supply issues, there remains a widespread shortage of funding for the purchase of high quality critical PPE for large numbers of healthcare workers. This is especially true in the Care Home and palliative care sectors who are not provided for by the NHS.

Care Workers

The staff and residents of care homes found in every corner of the UK are in an incredibly dangerous situation. It is very clear that those people over the age of 70 are most at risk and any PPE equipment that can be supplied to a Care Home is an invaluable asset to the workers and the residents, and will help to save the lives of those who are often very frail in their older years. Prevention is so important and it helps to reduce the overcrowding of Intensive Care Units and unnecessary deaths. In the last few months the NHS has begun to support care homes with PPE supply, but that is only a temporary measure with Care Homes once again becoming responsible for funding their own PPE supply again this autumn.
